Stampverse Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Stampverse handles information when you use the app, the public legal pages, and any future paid subscription features.

1. Scope

Stampverse is a local-first image capture and organization app. This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the iOS application, our public legal pages, and any future subscription-backed services offered through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

At the time of this policy, the core experience does not require account creation and does not upload your captured photos or generated stamp images to servers controlled by the developer by default.

2. Photos and device storage

When you capture or import an image, the app generates and stores the following items locally on your device: the original image, the generated stamp image, a thumbnail, collection assignment, capture date, and the geometry metadata needed to show the source region used to create the stamp.

This content is stored inside the app's local container on your device. Stampverse does not upload those images to the developer's servers as part of the current core feature set. If future releases add cloud sync or remote backup, this policy will be updated before or when that feature becomes available.

3. Permissions

The app requests access only to the device features needed to provide its functionality. This may include:

You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings at any time. If you deny a permission, related features may not work until access is restored.

4. Analytics and diagnostics

Stampverse is designed to minimize data collection. We do not use the app for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. We may use Firebase Analytics and related diagnostics tools to understand feature usage, app stability, subscription funnel performance, and product quality.

If Firebase Analytics is enabled in a release, the data sent may include limited event and technical metadata, such as app interactions, device or app instance identifiers, operating system information, app version, language, country or region inferred from network signals, crash or diagnostic events, and paywall or subscription conversion events. We configure analytics for internal product measurement and service operations, not for selling your data or serving behaviorally targeted ads.

We do not intentionally use analytics to identify you by name. However, some analytics providers may process persistent identifiers or technical data that are considered personal data under applicable law. You should review the privacy settings available on your device and through Apple where applicable.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Stampverse is expected to adopt a subscription-based business model. If you purchase a subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system, Apple will process your payment information directly. We do not receive your full payment card number or Apple ID password.

We may receive subscription-related records required to provide paid access and support, such as the product identifier, storefront, purchase status, renewal status, expiration date, cancellation state, refund status, and transaction identifiers. We use that information only to unlock features, validate entitlements, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and maintain records related to the subscription service.

6. Sharing and disclosures

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your images with advertisers. We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us operate the app, such as analytics, crash reporting, payment infrastructure, or legal hosting, but only where needed for those services and subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, lawful request, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of users, the app, or the public.

7. Retention and deletion

Locally stored images and metadata remain on your device until you delete them inside the app, remove the app, or clear the device data through iOS. Diagnostic or analytics records may be retained by us or our service providers for as long as reasonably necessary for service operations, security, auditing, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Subscription records, tax records, and support-related records may be retained longer where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal data, and to object to or request portability of certain processing. Because the current app experience is primarily local-device storage, many requests can be handled by deleting content directly on your device.

For requests that relate to analytics, subscription records, or legal compliance records, contact us using the email listed below. We may need to verify your request and may keep a record of the request for compliance.

9. Children

Stampverse is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app in a way that requires action, contact us and we will review the request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or new service providers. When changes are material, we will update the effective date above and may provide an in-app notice or other disclosure where required.
